AZ Links is Arizona’s Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), created to help Arizona Seniors, People with Disabilities, Caregivers and their Family Members locate resources and services that meet their needs.
DES Division of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) The Division of Aging and Adult Services provides information and services to Arizona Seniors through Adult Protective Services, Community Services, Independent Living Supports and the Refugee Resettlement program.
Area Agencies on Aging The local Area Agencies on Aging that receive Older American Act funds to provide a variety of services to Older Adults. Services may include in-home assistance, respite care, case management, congregate and in-home meals, housekeeping, transportation, adaptive devices, elder emergency housing and more.
AARP - Arizona
AARP is committed to championing access to affordable, quality health care for all generations, providing the tools needed to safe for retirement, and serving as a reliable information source on issues critical to Americans age 50+. AARP and AARP Foundation are also working to improve the lives of Arizonans through vital services including advocacy, community education, job training and placement, driver safety and tax assistance programs.
Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS)
AHCCCS is Arizona’s Medicaid program, providing health insurance to low-income Arizonans. It’s mission is to provide comprehensive, quality health care to those in need. The AHCCCS Web site provides easy access to information about the agency, its programs and services.
Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS)
The ALTCS program is a statewide managed care system which delivers both acute and long term care services through eight prepaid, program contractors, Native American Tribes or Associations.
DES Division of Developmental Disabilities
DDD provides supports and services to eligible individuals with Developmental Disabilities. The division coordinates supports, services and resources through over 50 local offices in various communities throughout the state. These local offices promote access to community resources and program flexibility in meeting your needs.
Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC)
SILC represents five Independent Living Centers, encouraging and advocating independent living for Arizonans with disabilities throughout the state. Centers for Independent Living (CILs) are private, nonprofit corporations that provide services to maximize the independence of individuals with disabilities and the accessibility of the communities where they live. Centers provide, among other things, advocacy, independent living skills training, information and referral and peer counseling.
